Edvin is bronze skinned with shaggy brown hair that hangs down to his chin. His clothes are rugged and made of tanned animal hides. The shirt has no sleeves, and is especially rough around the edges, as if it was cut for fabric very poorly. About his neck he wears a wolf totem made by his tribe: a pair of wolf fangs and a single dried paw
A scar cuts his face diagnally across his nose, and his copper colored eyes glow in the dark like a wolf's eyes.

Edvin was born to a tribe of Uthgardt who took their traditional anti-technology philosophy to the extreme. They lived deep among the forests, and had become so in-touch with nature lycanthropy became part of their traditions. Ed was born a werewolf, as was his father before him, and all others he grew up with. The wolf blood was simply part of his upbringing, and he adored the feelings of "pack" and "home" it brought. He was taught from birth to hunt with his dog, Strigger, at his side, in both human and wolf form, making their bond all but unbreakable. Life was simple, but good.
But living the way they did meant kingdoms saw them as savages, and savages could not be tolerated.
A neighboring kingdom bore down on Edvin's tribe when he was barely a man, and it was a bloodbath. Even in the form of the wolf, his family and elders stood no chance against the sheer numbers of a trained army. The army intended to leave no survivors.
Ed managed to escape with Strigger only because he fled the field, as many others others his age attempted to. After the battle was lost and the army dispersed, Ed searched for the fragments of his tribe, but he found only bodies. Those who survived seemed to have gone feral, and let the wolf take over forever. Ed was all that was left.
Despite his upbringing to believe "civilized" society was weak, it was his only choice to survive now. He'd simply have to learn to adapt.
