Adrian is a character I play in a variety of AUs and situations. Although he's oblivious to the nuanced subtleties of people, he sees the good in others easily and tends to take them at face value, being an open book himself. He's very flirtatious, extroverted, expressive, and might seem like a bit of a 'dumb jock' at first because of his absentminded nature. If he dislikes you, you probably have to have screwed up pretty bad. He enjoys indulging in alcohol, people, and more, but is a reasonable hedonist who can partake in moderation.
While he may be depicted in modern settings, his original version was written in late 1700s fantasy. In his PaperDemon iteration, he was the son of a king who was widely considered a tyrant, and who was deposed during a revolution. Adrian's easygoing nature meant he often consorted with the lowborn, and his empathy meant he was quickly swept up in the revolution, though he played more of a supportive role. Considered a traitor family and a de facto kinslayer for consorting with the side responsible for his father's execution, he carries this guilt, although he still feels that he was on the side of justice.
