The element of Earth manifested under the command of Icarus in peculiar ways - or whatever that might have been part of any magical alignment. Many didn't believe it to be magic, Icarus himself included - he knew better. His appearance alone spilled who or what had blessed, and cursed him.
During a night stroll together, Igraine witnessed Icarus shattering a person's phone screen, and hurling the shards right into their face. She had never really thought about Icarus' abilities that way - but that night, she realized how vulnerable she, and any other wyfex, was in his presence. Their screens were glass, all of them. He could blind and kill them in an instant, if he so chose.
And Igraine was terrified.
Icarus was homicidal, it was a known fact. He enjoyed inflicting pain, rending a person's flesh until it was nothing but pulp - but it only applied to humans, or anything resembling one too closely. The way he was able to manipulate glass objects made him even more dangerous and unpredictable - and he loved every second of it.
But on the other hand, what did she know - what had been, and what had become. She had only met Icarus, when he already was such an anomaly.
