The element of Earth manifested under the command of Icarus in peculiar ways - or whatever that might have been part of any magical alignment. Many didn't believe it to be magic, Icarus himself included - he knew better. His appearance alone spilled who or what had blessed, and cursed him.
During a night stroll together, Igraine witnessed Icarus shattering a person's phone screen, and hurling the shards right into their face. Icarus was homicidal, it was a known fact. He enjoyed inflicting pain, rending a person's flesh until it was nothing but pulp - but it only applied to humans, or anything resembling one too closely. The way he was able to manipulate glass objects made him even more dangerous and unpredictable - and he loved every second of it.
But on the other hand, what did she know - what had been, and what had become. She had only met Icarus, when he already was such an anomaly.
