Personality: Abelle is a generally friendly person. He's prone to casual joking and teasing, but overall gives off a comfortable energy. He acts very relaxed and aloof, but gets in the habit of coddling people around him without realizing. Abelle has a very mother hen personality and frequently catches himself making food or otherwise taking care of the people around him. However, he tends to get distant when it comes to romantic relationships, and has a difficult time entertaining the notion of anything serious.

Background: 

Abelle's mother was a popular contest coordinator before he was born. She became involved with a powerful man in Kalos who ended up pushing her away when he heard news of her pregnancy. He had a wife and kids, and in order to avoid the scandal, supported her financially as she settled down in Lumiose City. Abelle never knew their father, but didn't particularly care to. His mother took care of him and they lived a relatively peaceful life, but an interest in Pokemon breeding and care lead to Abelle eventually electing to leave home. Wanting a fresh start somewhere new, and after a reluctant farewell to his mother, Abelle decided on travel to the Crater Region, excited to start this next chapter.
