This looks like such a fun piece. Very eye-catching.

    Critique:
-I can see there was an attempt at perspective with the plane in the background. I think you could have tilted it a little more if you wanted to create the impression of it taking some damage. I like that you're thinking about perspective and foreshortening already as I can see you're putting the character's foot forward in a way. However, did you trace over a reference of a boot? The texturing looks so different from everything else. You don't have to put all these details on the bottom of the boot while the rest of the character is relatively flat. I think I know what you were going for (emphasizing the perspective) but it's a bit jarring. Again, a good idea-but you ended up putting more detail than you had to.

-I know that the characters are meant to be cartoony so it's usually fine if proportions are a bit off. But I say practice a little on more realistic proportions a bit just to get the hang of it, you can end up with more dynamic shots that way.

-The Colors. Okay, I'm of two minds about this. On the one hand, I actually like the brightness. It gives the image a playful tone and makes the whole thing feel like fun times. On the other, it's so many colors and all of them have their saturation is cranked way up so it can be a bit rough on the eyes and it makes it hard to focus on anything.

-I get the feeling you had a lot of fun making it which is probably the most important thing of all. Also, in just this piece I get a good read on Redpenny. You can instantly get a sense of who this character is and what she's about. Her vibes, if you will. Moreover, on a personal note I absolutely love this character archetype in general.

Notes: Take some time to study proportions and basic anatomy to really push your poses. Your character expressions are readable, and there's a sense of movement. I think improving the skills behind this will really help polish your strong-points and make this character even cooler and more fun.
