basil's talisman

When out adventuring, Basil carries a long scarf the same color as his wings. It keeps him warm while out and about, and he thinks it looks very stylish. The most important piece, however, is the faintly glowing blue shard of metal attatched to it. Gained after much tribulation and conflict, it grants him the gift of time travel in his own world. However, as it's not native to the other worlds, it merely lights up the dark when he ventures through portals and away from home.
