Will-o-whisp

Mycelia's element, fire. This mostly manifests itself as blue will-o-whisps that follow her passively. They are mostly harmless, only feeling slightly warm to the touch. Though she can control them and make them hotter and act more like a normal fire. She also can glow on command, as under epidermis is a layer of bioluminescence. While convenient, she's found this also has its downsides. When exposed to direct sprays of water or submerging herself her skin looses its color, becoming an ashy black with blue threads looking similar to mycelium growth. The feeling is also rather uncomfortable. Light mist is fine like from the forest moisture, just large quantities affect her skin. 

After manifesting this new power mycelia gained a small fascination to study the affects of fire on mushroom reproduction through controlled burns in her home of faedin.
