The first thing Casey does when she finds out about her earth ability? Well of course she uses it to change the terrain around her, helping her run away from vendors that have seen her thieving ways! It takes her a while to get used to, in the beginning she can only move pre-existing rock formations up, down, closer, or farther from her. But eventually she finds outs all sorts of secrets.
