When Godsent was young he had exactly two goals: to be a highly skilled fisherman and to be an excellent dad. Growing up on the coast in a small village has a way of making your dreams more humble and wholesome. And having a wonderful father, caring and gentle, makes you want to strive to be that as well. So in another world, where he and Celestie, had met under less dire circumstances, both of these could have come true.
