The Slime Battle

Prompt: The Slime is stronger than you first thought! Draw or write about your character covered in Slime.

Turns out, fighting monsters is not as easy as adventure books made it seem. Librarians aren't particularly cut out for battle. What Lutheran would've like to do would be to use his newfound elemental powers to crush the slime, or impale it with a rock spear, or maybe cut it to pieces with thorny vines. Nope! The elemental powers are still a new part of him, and he managed to get as far as making a patch of grass grow a few centimeters. The slime had him battered and backed into a corner before his fight or flight response pushed him to throw up a rock wall to protect himself. Now that he knew what using his earth powers felt like, he was able to more appropriately handle them. He wasn't any sort of competent opponent, but a few rock barrages helped him eek out a win. Perhaps confidently marching into a fight with no combat experience wasn't the best idea.
