Submiting for character development prompt: Talisman

In the order of Intricasy, one gains their magic and status as a full Worker of Intricasy by reciving a gift from the god herself. In their new chapter of life, their talisman is a Worker of Intricasy's most cherished possesion. No one would simply forget theirs on a windowsill in a near-abandoned part of the keep! And yet...

Gwyn should probably return this to whomever it belongs to... She knows that you should never touch a Worker's talisman without their express permision but surely whomever forgot this here would be very grateful to have it returned. Especcially with how beutiful it is... The thin sheets of brass over the moleskein cover, stamped in a diamond-shaped fractal which branches down farther than Gwyn can even see! And the amythist anchor on the bookmark, covered in natural facets which cause it to glimmer like it is host to an entire constelation.

And, no matter who lost it, they probably wouldn't even think to check for it here! After all, Gwyn's the only one who spends any time anywhere near this window and the fractal-like lichen that grows over it. But she doesn't even know who to return it to... Lady Dawson would though!

Yes. She should pick up this Talisman and bring it to Lady Dawson. After all, how much more trouble could this get her than the trouble she's already in?

(If it's not clear, this Talisman is Gwynheida's. Intricasy left it for her on the sill of her favorite window in the keep. This idea simply never occurs to her.)
