The Book of Forgotten Fables

#95 Draw or write about a talisman for your character. It can be something that is sentimental, magical, or in some way meaningful to your character. It's not required, but many adventurers who journey to these different worlds keep their Portal badges on their talisman as a way to showcase all of the places they've journeyed to.

Evie's talisman is a feather-shaped bookmark made out of a shiny, golden metal. Whenever she travels through portals or magic is used on her, the talisman moves around, fluttering as a normal feather does in the wind.

She found this bookmark tucked away in her Book of Forgotten Fables. The book is a magical encylopedia of different myths and legends she encounters on her journeys. It magically updates when Evie gains new knowledge. And sometimes, Evie finds her bookmark in a different place than where she left it. Almost as if it was telling her which myth to pursue next...

The book itself, though, is a mystery. Since Evie did not create it, it already had a few myths inside. But from who? when?

As she chases tales both old and new, Evie attempts to figure out the unwritten mysteries of the book itself. What happened to the original owner? And how did the book find its way to her in the first place?
