It will take a long long time for Zeke to look in a mirror and actually see himself again. All he can see is a past version of himself, a whole life ahead of himself shrouded and cared for by a loving family. Now, all Zeke has is a jourogumo child to look after, and elderly woman who is slowly working her way to the end of her life, and some style for fashion. Zeke tries to tell himself he's not lonely..... he's just glad that he never saw this coming. Past Zeke would have been terrified.
