I don't know what you do your lines with, but a big tip for inking- draw all stright lines with rulers, and all curves that must be done by hand draw from the inside of the curve- the outward arc is alot easier to control. Try for one solid line as you do it. Scratchyness looks messy. Also- for a cleaner lineart- make it solid black if you can in a photo editing program. IF you can take out all or atleast most of the grey scale, then it's alot more crisp. I use threshold for that
