The Background is made from brushes I made for AdobePhotoShop 7.0 or higher. (Composited with the MAP I made of the world.

These specific border coloums were from the Art Nouveux set of 42 brushes. If you use AdobePhotoshop 7.0 or higher you can download my custom brush set here:

http://www.sakuranbostudios.com/brush/fablespinner_brushes/fableartnouveaux42.abr

just download the file into your

>>/presets/brushes

folder in your adobe program and use away. I have several custom brush sets I've made that are available for download.

My depository is here:
http://www.sakuranbostudios.com/brush/fablespinner_brushes/

Only the files that start "fable" are brushes I've acutally made myself.

Denim, Comic Screentones, Medievil, anime, victorian flowers etc... (the file 'fablebrushes' are about 50 *give or take* japanese tatami/shoji patterns, I use these A LOT, very versitile brushes for backgrounds, to clothing patterns. I used them in the above picture on the sashes, Subtle patterns, easy applications.)

The rest are brush sets I've collected over the years from Adobe Exchange

To give you an IDEA:

I made these brushes out of a Japanese Home StyleBook, Patterns for Transom and tatami panels. 40 plus PATTERN BRUSHES

*NOTE*
All my brushes are for ADOBE PHOTOSHOP 7.0 or higher, they don't work on earlier versions. These are LARGE FILES because I designed them to be used while working at PRINT QUALITY of 300 dpi or higher. So even on Cable, you're gonna be downloading a while, especially the last set of brushes, that's forty plus designs in that set.

Here *ALL* of my brushes:
Just the file names that start with 'fable' are the ones I actually made myself, the rest are just brushes I've picked up over the years from ADOBE EXCHANGE

These are the filenames I made personally:

Wow, that's alot of things to do for such a seemingly simple item. Thankyou for posting how you went about doing this. I just wish I had a good enough working computer to be able to "take my art to the next level" Unfortunately, I am unable to use most of what you supplied, though I shall note the programs you used, and hopefully when I get them, come back to this post and use them, Thanks for taking the time to put all this, quite alot of time for you to gather together this.

I overkill most things, I'm so anal retentive I have to be careful sitting down for fear of sucking up the furniture. Tongue
