Well she would not be into THIS dress ever. But her real problem with dressing up is that she thinks it would compromise her secret. People don't think the dirt smeared kid in the tattered coat could be the missing princess. If it weren't for that she wouldn't mind most dresses.

Just not ones that look like cupcakes

    Oooh, she is a PRINCESS. I didn't know that. Thought she was "just" a cute pirate kiddo.
