The lighting on this is awesome! Great work, I can see that you're taking what tips I give you and really running with them! You're improving quickly!

Improving so quickly that I'm worried you'll burn yourself out, actually. I know you didn't ask for criticism on these piece, so I hope you'll excuse that I'm going to go on with tips about being a self taught anyways.
I've learned (from the draw a box course,) that you should split your drawing with the 50% rule. 50% of your time goes to study, art for the purpose of improvement, while seriously considering technique. The other 50% should be just for fun! No stress about doing something correctly. Here's a video about it.
It's a little long, but I promise it's worth it! You don't want to burn yourself out (and I don't want you to burn yourself out either!)

(I found the actual art terms that I was looking for earlier, oops. It's form vs cast shadows. Here's an article about it:

[Art] Time to Evolve!!
Dec 22, 2022, 12:42:44 AM UTC on [Art] Time to Evolve!!
I sincerely think this is the first time I've been given both constructive critiques AND had worry expressed if I was burning myself out.

Observation aside, I sincerely appreciate the concern ^^ It's very heartwarming in a way to hear. I assure you though I am only working on stuff I want to. I've gotten roughly 5 or 6 scribbles I haven't posted here either that are admittedly self-indulgent fluff. My art goes in tandem with the therapy I'm in, hopefully, it shows that it's helped in time?

Idk if I understood you correctly or if I'm rambling like an idiot, but thank you. Really, it was surprising and kinda made my day.

Ahh, I'm just saying, don't make every piece a study of some sort! In example, if your practicing new poses, great! But don't be practicing a new pose when you're drawing for fun. Does that make sense? I feel like it's a balance everyone has to work out for themselves.

I'm glad I can help! And you really do seem to be improving rapidly, love it see it.

Makes perfect sense, yeah! Thank you for caring and explaining it to me. ^^

I'm glad to be able to show so much growth admittedly.
