The name refers to the trend on Tiktok when everyone just mixed random, colourful, sour candies and energy drinks together and called them "battery acid". (Because they would consume like, 30 times the recommended sugar intake and it'd taste awful lol) Just search "making battery acid drink", or something like that on Tiktok, and you'll see how blasphemous these drinks were >~<
