That was my lame attempt at foreshortening. The folded one, yes, does truly look messed up. The other one isn't; the bend is just hidden by the arm, so it looks it. His legs could still stand to be longer, tho.

foreshortening is hard to do and you have to practice. I just try to remember that for however long I make an arm (this is for foreshortening legs only) I have to try and remember that the tip of your middle finger only hangs down to mid-upper-thigh. That helps when I'm trying to figure out how long to make a leg- of course this doesn't really help when the leg is straight out and the foot is pointed at you, but if the knee is bent or their sitting indian style it's good to remember.

SaikonoYume I would fix it, but it's too late at this point. I did the line art with a pen instead of in photoshop, so I had to blur the lines a bit in photoshop. I wouldn't be able to make it look smooth if I tried to fix the lines.
But I'll keep all that in mind.
