Very cool! I love his huge axe thing!

In my opinion, the 2-D background contrast the 3-D centaurous (did I spell that right? I'm not sure) and really detracts from the intricacy of Anton himself. Also, the sword and the axe are a little wonky - they list to the side and aren't straight.

Other than that, you're solid! Very nice! Big Smile

Thank you for the critique Fox. I really appreciate it.
I hate drawing backgrounds and many times I just stick something in there to take up space and try to add a little to the piece.
After I drew the sword and the ax I hated them. but it was too late to do anything as I wasn't about to draw it all over again.
I'm glad you basically liked the work though. Looking forward to seeing some from you. Corky Smile

      Thank you, very much!

I know how that goes - I usually just don't draw backgrounds, which is why I usually lose contests. When I do draw bgs, though, they're really crap, so I don't really have anything to say.

      You're welcome, btw! Big Smile

Yeah it's a shame that I don't know an artist who is into just landscpaes and that kind of stuff. Then I could do like they do with the comic books. I could draw a character and he/she could draw the background to it. Smile

Oh, I know what you mean.. I'm the art for a webcomic of my friend's, and she wants all these backgrounds but I can't draw them at all... >.< All of it is really simple - which is sad when I put so much time into the foreground.

My problem is that if I put a lot into the character and do a backgroudn I want ti to be as good as the character is and that's usually just not possable. Corky Smile

I know exactly what you mean! What's really frustrating is spending tons of time on a contest entry and doing most of the work on the background, all for naught. +glares at contests+
