[Art] Staircase of Crows

This looks very dark and dramatic, I like that.
Did you do the background yourself, or edit a photo? It has me curious.
The person looks great, I love the tones and highlights in his hair, it looks so fluid and really has a great style to it. His face is lovely, again your style is really nice and the eyes look good. You handled the hair-over-face look well.
Nice post and design of the boots as well!

The only thing that troubles me is the right shoulder (his left)... It's so sharp, making it seem as if the arm is hanging a little unnaturally. I think if it were more round, like the other shoulder, it would seem more natural.

Glad you like it! Actually the background is a stock photo (credited in the comments under the art) that I edited with a filter and added a shadow behind him.
I'd have to say my favorite part is his boots. I've used the design only once, but edited it a bit to strictly fit this character.
And I know what you mean about his shoulder, it does look a bit odd now that you mention it. I'd edit it in all, but I don't the original photoshop document of this x__x

Ohhh.. I'm sorry, I see it now! I saw the "Daddeh" and "Mommah" and didn't look at the next, assuming it was similar. And I'm one that abhors assumptions... Sweat Drop

As far as the shoulder, it doesn't call attention to itself when viewing the image as a whole, so it's not a big deal anyway (I'm picky XD)... I hate losing the original files, I've had that happen, and I know how it feels!

LOL it's all right xD It happens to the best of us.

I'm a bit of a perfectionist heh, but you pointing it out helps me to prevent it from doing it in the future, so it's all good ;D. Yeah I had soooo many other files, but I never backed them up. So when my computer crashed I lost everything Dx I've heard it happens to a loooot of people.
