it would be nice if she did it intencionally, a way to remember Kagura and since is Sesshomaru who gives kimonos to Rin also a good way to see he still remembers Kagura

Fluffball Exactly my thinking - Kagura is not far from his mind.
That was the first thing I noticed about Rin's new kimono - the striking resemblance to Kagura's own.
I wonder if that was deliberate on Takahashi's part.
