I decided to ignore color for awhile since I wanted practice with markers. I don't have good markers anyway. The best advice I ever got when in my drawing class was to ignore color since it's complex and confusing. The gray scale tones fit the pic too.
This is very true. Colour has alot more rules. Best to understand lighting first since that by itself is a difficult thing to learn. Colour is always nice though ^^
I do likes the color....but this one just screamed to be done. It's the first thing I've ever been able to sit down and work on without stopping. I have some serious ADD, so I usually get distracted alot...and forget things....and then things take like waaay longer than they should.
