Thanks for your comment. Smile The matter is... I hate doing elaborate backgrounds... Tongue, the main purpose of my drawings is concentrate on the characters only.
This drawing wasn't edited at all, as I don't have Photoshop (duh!) nor Gimp...
I use Photoimpression, and I made some works with if: I'll post them later.

Well, doing detailed backgrounds can be pretty boring. Big Smile But with tools like markers, it's usually better no background than quick background, I think.

Have you tried combining your liners and markers with watercolours? If you wan't to stick to traditional media, these are the ones which can cover wide spaces and actually look pretty cool.

    Generally I use watercolours for bgrounds, you'll see in some of my works I'll post in future here; sometimes I use markers as you've seen Wink
    Maybe my bgrounds aren't the best, but again, the characters are more important for me... However, recently, I'll color my bgrounds digitally (simple plain colour, nothing special).
