I get ya with liking sketches more sometimes Smile I keep high resolution files of my sketches now days cause I like how raw they are Smile

    Right Smile it gives me it's true look. When I try digital, I lose something along with it. I'm not even sure what exactly ^^; also I would be able to submit more traditional pictures when it comes to portable devices.

      One thing I sometimes like doing is putting a multiply layer on top of my pencils and colouring that instead like Art thumbnail . That way I get the colour and the sketch. Do you have a program that has layer blending modes in it? You could try that too. Photoshop and Manga Studio (modern)I know have it. Not sure about Sai, and other programs.

        I was gonna say I have SAI, for layer/blend technique I usually make the sketch layer on multiply so a different layer could color right through. Yet again it requires a computer and internet to submit it if digital.

          Ah- I'm not familiar with Sai, sorry ^^; If you know about it then it's all good Smile
