Yes, you're absolutely right
but you see, I was somewhat between 11 and 13 years old, a little fanatic fangirl in the making, in a time when words like fandom/shipping/tumblr didn't even exist... of course for me EVERYTHING was a threat to my precious "ships" and Aragorn/Arwen was my very first otp.. my god, I was so obsessed hahahaha😂😂😂

...Unless you are much older than I estimate, fandom and shipping communities were probably already around, although they were much less loud and proud than they are now.
I think I didn't even have internet connection back then.. another life!!😱😆
I feel glad that fandom is so public now, even if fan drama can get ugly on occasion... I have heard legends. :p
