I relate with that! I don't draw human/dragon combos much, but when I draw merfolk, centaurs, or other hybrid creatures, I like to mesh the traits of both animal inspirations more thoroughly so it doesn't look like a human torso/head/ect slapped onto part of some other animal.

that reminds me that I haven't drawn any merfolk or centuars in a while. Maybe that will be my next project!
