I was looking at a couple of different options for Nintendo Switch that was really soothing. Animal Crossing New Horizons was pretty soothing for a while, but I eventually found it pretty agitating to grind it constantly. I need something that is borderline meditative. Bonus points if it is an emotional game. I want to bring magic back to my switch, any suggestions in the degrees of things like in the realm of...I don't know, Birdsong?

have you tried Stardew Valley? it's a farming simulator however you can pick it up and put it down with no loss of time between like with Animal Crossing and similar games which made it very calming for me, the emotions come from the diverse and colorful cast of other people you can interact with, befriend, and aid or hinder in their own troubles.
