Addiction- WIP

Posted Dec 30, 2015, 12:47:29 PM

Been into the Dragon Age games lately, and I've fallen pretty hard for Commander Cullen and his sweet shy, but strong personality. He's trying to crack an addiction to a magical substance that glows in the dark called Lyrium, and to be honest, it was only a matter of time before the Tron fangirl in me drew this.

This is pretty hot. I like the trail left by the glowing liquid.

Heheh- thank you Smile I really love how you can play around with Lyrium to make cool effects Smile Like with Fenris and him having Lyrium tattoos that glow when he activates his powers and how they use it to light things up in general and stuff. It's cool Smile I'm sure making Magic glow is prob a troupe, but I'm new to gaming so it's all special to me still XD

This is SO gorgeous. As always, you do fabulous work.

And I am so squealing with glee that you used the brush. It looks so good!! You always do such amazing work, and I'm so honoured you used that brush for it! Smile

Thank you TuT I was super happy when you posted it. I didn't know you could make brushes in Manga Studio, or even think about making a brush out of it. I have no idea why, cause it makes sense to have one, but I never considered doing chest hair this way and it's super fast!

And thank you TuT I miss doing erotic art. I've tamed back a lot lately. I need to chill out and do what ever comes to mind TuT

I'm so glad you like it. You do great work and I'm so, so delighted that you used the brush for it. You've done a gorgeous, perfect job! It makes me so happy to see the brush used skillfully and look so great!

I'm trying to learn how to make brushes more in Manga Studio! It has such robust abilities. It's really great...I'll have to make more, and better! Smile

I'll be interested to see what you come up with Smile There's probably a lot of things you can make into a brush that I don't consider. And thank you TuT

I don't think taking a bath in it is gone to cure him of his addiction. I didn't even think of Tron when i first saw this.

Heh- in honesty, the song I was listening to when I drew the thumbnail for this was a song about wanting to be high so this is probably leaning more towards him not curing his addiction than not ^^; I donno- it's more just meant to be an erotic piece than anything sensible anyways. I just really like how lyrium lights things up.

I found something to give a glow to a pic with a brush but it not that good and finding anything for what I have is like looking for a Thylacine.

I don't understand your reference, sorry Sad Glowing effects are tricky. There's some cheats you can do with Gaussian blur and dodge layer blending modes, but if you're offering, I should be fine. I need to figure it out on my own for now Smile I don' have enough questions yet to start researching effectively. Thank you for your time though Smile

Thylacine is the scientific name of the Tasmanian Tiger that once roamed Tasmania Australia. There are still speculation and sightings of it existing on the main coast line.

I know of one artist that uses the Glow Brush all the time and she uses Manga Studio.

Oh- are you Australian? I never know what country people are from. Incidentally, the import fees for NZ only happen if it's over a certain value, which a tablet of hte larger kind certainly would be, or if there's charges, like when I imported some copics. I got hit with $200 of GST and importing fees cause of the $15 charge for it having acetone. NZ will tighten it's laws for parallel importing at some point. That'll be a sad day when it happens, cause all our goods go through Australia T.T
