Fanime Recovery
Home from Fanime. I had a blast. I asked Nuriko Windchaser to join me this year. Previous years we've only gone to a smaller con I shan't name. It seems she had a blast... as did I. This year we sat behind Jeff Thomas. He's fantastic! I gave him some small business advice.
Networking was great! Several people remembered me (and I them) so we exchanged info.
I didn't sell much, but I did make back the cost of the table which is what's important... that and the networking.
Returning home the fever that my kids had FINALLY took over and I allowed myself to be sick for a few days. Today I had the energy to unpack the car.
I registered for classes at Ohlone. Instead of 3 science related classes, I only have two. My art classes this semester are Theater Costuming (YAY!), Digital Photography and I'm on the waitlist for Descriptive Drawing. I really hope I can take DD because it's a pre-req for several classes I need. In science I have Heredity (biology) and Native American Survey (anthropology).
I'm also really excited about finishing an anthology so I can print them in time for an upcoming convention.
