oh, you did this in charcoal? it really adds tyo the shading I think and it's esp. good I think because the manga is black and white but this way the shading is more natural than the patterns used in manga. (lot of the patterns have meanins toward moods and whatnot, though)

This is charcoal correct? I really like the texture of it. It's not very often that I see anime art done in charcoal.

  yup, most of my artwork is done in charcoal and graphic pencil. a strange combination, but it works for me, lol.
