Brief biography: Yorell was born raised within an asteroid belt, as was standard for most members of their naturally space-faring species. They grew up with tales of the gods of the universe, and remained devout to those gods as they eventually matured and ventured away from their birth colony. They were so devout, in fact, that they swore their life to the task of hunting down demonic creatures. In exchange for their oath, they were gifted a magical chain that they can summon at will, its intended use, of course, being to uphold that very promise.

Yorell travelled the cosmos for quite some cycles, before eventually becoming planet-locked after accidentally falling into the gravitational pull of a celestial body that they could not escape without a spacecraft. The planet they had landed on was inhabited by a group of nomads called the Astors; all creatures of different species, yet all sharing the title in the sake of community. They offered Yorell a place in their colony, and Yorell remained with them for a few dozen cycles until they all inevitably left the temporary home-planet in favor of a new one with fresh resources. It was at this point that the cometfarer parted ways with the Astors, although they carried the name with them as they followed the call of their oath through space.

Due to the nature of their species, Yorell is deaf (there is no need for creatures to develop hearing when they live in the vacuum of space, after all). They can, however, use mild telepathy to communicate basic ideas between themselves and others, or create more complex mental tethers for long-term intentional communication, along with knowing a majority of common sign language. Their oath with the gods also allows them to use some healing spells, although they are not used particularly often at the moment. Their primary weapon in a fight, of course, is their chain. Since it is comprised of pure energy, they can will it to burn hot against their opponent's form when it makes physical contact. Their body isn't useless in a fight either, having a rather sturdy composition due to their affinity with space travel, but Yorell prefers to keep away from hand-to-hand combat unless entirely necessary.

Description: Yorell has a snake-like body with dark blue skin and four pairs of limbs scattered along it, with the two middle pairs being capable of acting either as legs or arms whenever the situation calls for it. Their long tail is prehensile, and their solid yet agile body, when paired with their many limbs, allows them to move near-silently in most environments. The top half of their head is comprised of a solid, bone-white material with a symbol pictured on the top of it, a rune symbolizing their oath. They often wear a hooded cloak with similar runes stitched into it, as well as a light blue piece of cloth that drapes over their second set of shoulders.
