I had been Listening to Avril Lavigne's song "Girlfriend". I got the idea about Xita fitting the song while driving. in the story idea that my husband got to thinking, she is part of the love triangle.
But I could see her saying the same lines as the song. And it had such a beat with the cheeleading riffs, that it reminded me of the songs the Misfits did in Jem back in the 80's. So that was sort of the basis for the clothes.

I agree with the previous commenter that the arm closest to us is a little small, it should be slightly larger (just slightly) than the one behind...
