Zexion - Betwixt and Between

Posted Jan 15, 2008, 3:14:06 PM UTC

A picture of Zexion I sketched over the weekend. There is no real reason for the wings, or the tattoo...other than I rather like the image of him with a Lotus tattoo. (his would be red...I'd recomend looking up the symbology and seeing why if your curious)

This is of course...my first submission here. You can find me under the same name at Y! and Devart :3

Don't be afraid to say hello either place!

Not quite looking for Candy Coated but...not harsh either I hope :3

beautiful piece. I love your wingwork. the fingers on his right hand look a little uneven on size, but that's it.

I don't know the character, but it's a nice simple pose that you've worked really nicely ^^ Lovely pic ^^

Thank you! <3 I was really afraid people would think it was a too much used pose :3 I'm glad no one so far has said so <3

You can never over use a pose if it's done in context Smile People forget that simple can be beter. As long as its a simple concept and not a dynamic one Smile That's how I see it Yes

Very true <3 though sometimes a dynamic pose with a simple background can add 'oomph' to the pose <3 (though I prefer to stay away from excessive motion lines they too can be effective in context XD )

This is pretty, too. I like your style. It's clean, and really smooth and dreamy, too! Big Smile

*Blush* thank you <3 I think thats a first for anyone calling my style dreamy <3

Really? Wow. That's the first thing I thought the second I saw this pic. o.o I was like, "Ooooh, dreeeeeamy." Well, I actually thought of the word "whooooshy" first, but I thought 'dreamy' would be a better substitute for that. xD *ramblrambleramble*
