Knight and Witch

 I made this for a contest for Halloween on a Bleach forum. It was supposed to be a AU (Alternative Universe) where Ichigo meets Rukia, a witch. I thought of a Knight injured in battle and Rukia a curious witch that lured by the sounds of war, approaches the site. Ichigo is bleeding and is startled by this supernatural young woman and lifts his sword in defiance and confusion, but he is also surprised by her beauty. Ichigo asks: "Am I dead... are you an... angel?" Rukia replys: "you are injured... I can heal you..." 

I drew it on a dark background paper (charcoal grey) to mimic night or dim light. I wanted the colors to glow and be really noticeable, specially Rukia's magic. I colored it with pastels. The hard chalky ones, with some charcoal and color pencils. I decided to play around with them and experimented and this is the results of that. Wish me luck, even though I doubt I will win. ^_^
