There's no place like home, they say. Dorothy wanted to return to Kansas even though she was in the magical kingdom of Oz where everything was new and mysterious. So many wonders to see, so much to explore. And still she clicked her shoes together three times.
Commander Elliot never understood that. Everytime he was back on Earth, back in the crowded dusty streets of New San Francisco, he wished to return to space. This was his home, the small and cold apartment with it's metal walls and the view on the city's high towers with the deep mists of pollution below. This wasn't home. Home is where the heart is. And Commander Elliot's heart was in the great beyond. In space.
