David Tennant
Started off drawing this picture of David Tennant as part of a critique for this picture but I think I ended up learning as much on this crit myself as they did XD This was a very difficult pose and expression to get right. And I wish I knew that grey scale striped suits were SO MUCH EASIER than coloured pencil suits. Oh man- the memories of the hand cramp >.< It was so bad. Looks so god though in the end.
Mostly happy with the end result. I think I could get it slightly closer to the main picture if I overlay the reference onto mine, but I'm not into that kind of stuff. I have more fun working it out by eye balling the picture Enjoy!

calypsoidal1 Dang, when do you find the time to do these?!?ArkillianDragon In between lunch breaks, and those precious precious moments I share with a Starbucks in my hand. This is A5 though so it didn't take too long to do. Most of it is just knowing where to smudge the torton. The expression was the biggest challenge in this. That's what took the time. Normally something like this would only take a few hours. I think I spent about an hour or so on the expression alone. It's hard to tell cause I did it over 4 sittings >.> I should time myself some day and see how long it takes...calypsoidal1 I thought you had a tardis.ArkillianDragon If only I had a Doctor for every time someone said that to me... I'd have 1 Doctor XD I'd be happy with just one though ^^
