The parallels between the two are interesting- light vs. dark, while having identical traits with the exception of color. It could just be to make the art process faster, though it makes me wonder how they're related- if they were siblings, they'd likely have more similar colors while having some divergent traits. They could be twins using some sort of dye to achieve the color differences, that'd make sense, except for the eyes.
