Morekeleb, once harnessing a piece of the power left behind by Phantom, believes himself to be essentially a god, if not a near-godlike being for his ability to "control" this power. This feeling only lasts a few moments, however. The power overtakes his mind and soul, converting him into one of Phantom's mindless followers.

Morkeleb was the leader of a past cult, one which was dedicated to finding and reviving a power thought long gone. They spread their message through metaphorical brainwashing, stealing young Nox chicks from their nests and parents, only to raise them to worship this power, and teaching them to seek it out wherever possible. Get as much info as you can, however you can get it. Once this power was to be found, they would take control of it, using it to bring Stryx back to their primal roots, becoming a species to be feared and respected highly. One without restraints, tack, riders, or even companions. They went unknown for many decades, until a rather ambitious individual, Axel, ended up seeking out this cult with the intention of forcing his way into it's roster. What he was unaware of was the fact that, because of his previous antics (ones that caused local justice/police forces to take notice of his every move) he had unintentionally unveiled the secret group.

Justice forces took action, fighting to capture the cult's members, and interrogating anyone they caught into revealing where more hid. Of course they couldn't catch them all, but the ones they did catch were tossed into prison, including Morkeleb. He was to eventually break himself and other out, narrowly escaping a second capture on the way out. At this point, all Morkeleb wants to do is find his crew and continue their work, finding this power and taking back what he thought Stryx ought to be.

Obviously, this plan is shattered once Phantom is released by the doings of a another strange Hawk, and she is free to take the world by storm.
