Looking good. Just three things I'd do. Lower the Fox, or put him sitting on something. Thicken her tail just a bit. Maybe make her top a little lighter so her hair doesn'r blend into it so much.

I already took the fox out and replaced the sword with a tombstone like the other guy said. I'm still kinda thinking about how I want it to come out. =/ I'll take what you said into consideration, though. ^.^

Small thing I have with the pic- if she's putting all her weight on that sword, that sword should counter her weight to support her weight by leaning toward her in the same direction as her arm, or her non weight bearing leg needs to counter balance her so she isn't putting weight on her sword. It's small, but she looks like she defies gravity without it

=P I need to draw the rest of the picture. The sword is far enough in the ground that it's not leaning, or I think that's what I planned. O.o

=P I'm kinda suprised you didn't notice that the fox seems to be sitting a little high up, to me at least. I need to move him down some, or over.

To be perfectly honest with you, I didn't know it was there till you pointed it out. It's doesn't really add to the picture, so my mind skipped over it. Maybe you should turn it around so you can see it.

Also, for a character sketch, most people don't draw ground under a person, so a fox sitting at the bottom of the picture, it doesn't really throw you off. I do suggest fixing the sword though. Unless you can tell it's in the ground then it'll look off. Maybe turn it into a grave or something solid looking...

Changing the sword to something else sounds good. I don't want to think about having to color it. I'm suprised it's even recognizable as a sword... I usually can't draw them at all...

I might try to turn the fox around, I don't know how well it'll turn out. I might wind up just taking it out.

          ^.^ thanks for the help.

Taking it out would be beter. If you're going to have it in, it should be on ground level also. Otherwise it's concidered conceptual, but it isn't, is it?

Swords aren't too hard to reckonise-Mine aren't too crash hot. Anythiing with a blade at the end and an ornate handle will be reckonised. I think a grave stone would be more appropriate, unless she weilds that as her main weapon and is a fighter. Keep to the basics. Then add if you have to- keep it clean and easy to understand, but interesting ^^ She'd look great with a back drop

Not conceptual, just wasn't paying attention when I drew it. ^^,

I don't know how well I am at drawing tombstones, but I think I'll try it. She is a fighter, though I don't think she would be fighting in that skirt. o.o

As for a background... I'm horrible at backgrounds, but practice makes perfect, no? v.v,,
