Pavia, World of Stone Deserts

Prompt #1 - Strata Spires

Hours in from the coast, a vast field of layered fingers of rock jut out from the desert. The exposed layers of sediment make a veritable rainbow of colors ranging from vivid reds and sleek golds to deep purples and slate blues. While the Spires do attract tourists, the remote location and danger of toppling spires leaves it mostly populated by daredevils both local and intergalactic. Many use it for high stakes races. Show your character among the Strata Spires. Your piece must include your character and striped towers of rock.

Luis, as it turned out, loved Pavia and her deserts. Just as he loved the technological marvels of her airship racers, he also loved Pavia's sand racers. The crowd, he naturally got along with, and the food was... colorful, to say the least.

But, the place he loved most of all were the Strata Spires. As an Earth Latent, Luis was... captivated. The crystals sung together as a singular angelic choir, all singing on the same note. A singular voice. While mountain ranges would sing in my harmonies, of the different rock compositions and layers, the crystals were only that: a single component. The sound they evoked seemed to echo across the planet, their sounds amplified by their inherent structure.

(Originally made for Biweekly Prompt #74)

#74 It's dangerous to go alone! Show your character helping another character on an adventure, whether by giving them a sword before they go exploring on their own, giving them information, patching them up or just going with them.

Luis is not a tourist, but he does consider himself an Adventurer (he is registered as one, regardless). He takes jobs where he can get them, and helps those in need. This particular job, he heard about from one of the locals. A wolf on a bike, riding a dark stallion bike.

Sure. Luis could help.
