the truth will set you free

I'd be lying if I said I was sad it was over. I'm happy to finally be free. I wasn't brave enough like my friends at first but I can at least put my voice out there now.

Working the last nine months under the current leadership was awful. If you weren't in the inner circle of friends you didn't get any information about what was happening or what changes were being made. No critiques were allowed unless they fit rigid guidelines of what could and couldn't be discussed. Trying to discuss these problems with upper leadership was constantly met with "too many hands in the pot" but the pot was devoid of hands already. I was walking on egg shells over everything I did, but was too afraid to bring it up as I didn't trust any of the people in upper management but was ready to be lashed out at for wanting basic information that was being hoarded behind closed doors.

I'm not sure how many people are actually going to see this, but what was brought up isn't "petty internet drama". It's a failure of leadership and emotional abuse spanning months that finally reached a tipping point.
