keiko rarely actualy wears their talisman item of a pendent containing their grandmothers photo and a single tiny downy feather of their grandmothers (simular to a lock of hair)
keikos grandmother was the only one with the same quirk florcent wings since it ran in the family, they spent years and years training together to help with their quirks tendencys to be hard to control and bright as well as their fighting, deffence, control, agility and more the grandmother was a vigilante using their feathers to aid police silently without them knowing her location or finding her at all, she used the skills she gained from that to train keiko, when she passed keiko kept a downy feather she had given her so she knew her health and location as well as safety, while the feather is no diffrent from a birds feather now it holds a special place in keikos heart as they keep it in a sturdy foldable pendent within a caseing, next to a photo of her from a christmas photo shoot that she was very happy in a few months before she died. her grandmother taught her alot and she will not forget any of it, when she does wear the pendent its only when shes struggling and wishing she had guidence from her grandmother, whom she often went to for advice since her mother worked alot and her father only knew so much but didnt have a simular quirk to her. when her grandmother died she was devestated and spent weeks alone in their apartment holding the pendent.

the pendent is spesificaly made to be able to endure skydiving level heights, high speeds, alot of streangth/pulling, multiple tons of pressure, and contains a feather of keikos in the husk unseen inside the pendent so that they can retreive it even if lost. if pulled on hard enough it will snap with a easy snap on/off function even though it can endure far more attempted dammage.

keiko made sure to have it durable as to not endure the pain of it being damaged and holds sevral safety measures so that it doesnt ever get damaged.
