Godspawn Battle Challenge

Now, Luis wasn't well aquainted with the man, Silyvr Rose. Sure, he knew of him, and knew that he was a veteran at the Guild. He knew he was a Rank 4 Adventurer, and that's all the justification he needed at the time to ally with him. He needed someone experienced in monsters and the occult, and Silvr apparently had that.

What didn't expect was for the rainbow-haired dandy to be quite such a... neutral party- no, scratch that, a nincompoop. Luis began the convesation quite 'friendly-like', try to 'make some new friends', as Lin suggested. He asked the man what he thought of the occult and the supernatural: he said he was 'fine with it' and that blood didn't bother him. Luis couldn't agree. Luis asked the man what he thought of faith and religion. He was neutral, despite eventually revealing his history with it. How? How could a man who went through what he did not be affected by his upbringing? A freakin' cult, no less. How could it mean.... nothing to him? Not affect him, nor color his perception?

It didn't make any sense. It meant everything to Luis.

And finally, he asked what Silyvr believed to be the best way to solve a supernatural threat... Yet he couldn't answer even that, putzing around the topic like a damned politician. Luis thought the answer was faith-based; he thought they needed to research religions and figure out its weakness that way. Exorcise it, perhaps? But no, Silyvr thought diversifying their research made more sense. 

Either way, Luis found Silyvr Rose.... absolutely exhausting to be around. Why does he have to be so... goddamn boring? For Luis who had a stance on everything, he couldn't stand being in a room with someone for so goddamn long who didn't have a stance on anything.
