Skydancer bringer of stars

18x24, watercolor on watercolor paper

This is Skydancer, bringer of the stars. I always imagined a horse dancing across the sky every night, sprinkling stars as it went. This is my second fantasy watercolor piece,and it was completed in September of 2006. *This painting is for sale on EBAY for 7 days starting Dec 20,2006*

    It looks a lot like Skydancer of the '80s cartoon Rainbow Brite, who creates thunder and lightning as he gallops across the stormclouds. That's what I thought when I saw the thumbnail in the gallery Smile But I love the night sky purple-blues and the sprinkling of stars.

      LOL Actually it was Starlight and he was white with a rainbow mane and gold hooves Wink

        Starlite was Rainbow's horse. Skydancer was Stormy's. There was also a third horse, the only female, who was pink with a white heart on her forehead, Sunriser. Oh, and Krys's On-x. I was rather obsessed with '80s cartoons, Rainbow Brite especially, a few years ago...

      LOL thanks. I do love horses. I do have a lot of different kinds of things..it just seems like I am posting more unicorns then anything..I hope I don't uni you out Wink

      Thank you! I love the colors as well. He is a lot prettier in person, I really wish I could take my art to everyones house so they could really see it.
