Have you considered going to college to study art? You would benifit a lot from it. You'd be able to see that his torso is too short before spending hours rendering it. This one I think is rendered the best but has the most porportion issues of the artwork you've uploaded. Block in your figures first and make sure they are porportionate before rendering.

    Thanks for the advice. I'm not sure if i'll be enrolling in any art courses anytime soon though as i'm realy stretched to my limit when it comes to available time. I do appreciate the feedback though.

    wow, i would not have noticed any of those. makes me not want to draw anymore.

      No don't do that. The last thing my art should do is turn someone away from drawing.
