I'd love to imagine Paiko tells people he has a "
stash", and occasionally offers to show people "the good stuff", which has tricked numerous people into following him into a secluded area thinking they were getting drugs, only for Paiko to whip out a trench coat full of shiny trinkets and pebbles.
