While wandering around the festival, you stumble upon Rat! Although you can't see their face, they seem troubled, so you decide to ask them what's wrong.
"Well I was trying to pick out a gift, but I didn't bring my hairband with me, so I didn't realize until now that I actually got two gifts. What am I supposed to do with two??" You look at the boxes to notice that they're not really gifts, but Box Companions instead...
After explaining it in a way that won't panic Rat any further, they thank you energetically. "That's so kind of you, thank you! Please choose one of the Boxes to keep, I think that would fix the problem altogether!"

While looking around for something to eat among the flower and snack stands, a small flash of fur crashes into you! You look down to see a fawn, and look past its trail to see none other than Fwubby running your way.
"Sorry for that!" They let out exhaustedly, a bunch of pecans in one hand and a huge egg in the other. "This little rascal escaped the hatchery because it wanted to see the festival before the rest of the fawns." They show you the egg. "This little one was ready to hatch so I was keeping track of it when the fawn broke loose."
The fawn sniffs at Fwubby's hand to grab some pecans, and then turns to look at you, mesmerized. Fwubby cocks an eyebrow at it. "Well, it seems they don't run away now. I know usually adults come to the Hatchery instead of the Hatchery going to them, but would you be interested in keeping this friend?" They think for a while longer. "Or I could hand you the egg, along with an egg manual. That way I could have the hands to bring this kid back to the hatchery safe and sound. What do you say?"
