Ooo, menacing looking Veggie.
I get where you're coming from on the 'something missing' thing...I think if you brought his eyebrows down further, that is, put them at a more severe diagonal, you'd get that "I'm going to kill you if you come any closer" look. Maybe make his pupils large to give it more the 'staring right at you' effect. Right now, it feels like his pupils are rolling back into his head.
