When it comes to drawing animals or appealing creatures of any kind I like to draw this horizontal diagonolish line for the eyes. I think it adds a lot of charm to the creatures. Also dragons are the thing I draw most other than humans, so I have a lot of practice with them. Though, for this piece, I kept the dragon very simple. Generally, a detail them a lot more.
